canvas covers for casita?

Is it a good idea to cover my 16' casita with a canvas cover for the winter? I live in the Pacific NW and there is a lot of rain in the winter. I was a little worried about lack of air flow and mold. Does anyone have any experience with one?
thanks

Calmark covers come highly recommended here and on the casita forum but they are'nt cheap. I purchased a cheap one from a place called Cover Giant, first bit of wind shredded it. You get what you pay for. After that i ordered a metal carport, best purchase i made, besides buying my casita.

I would second the CalMark suggestion. I have a Casita SD 17 that sits outdoors in Nebraska. So far...two winters and both still look brand new. I added a large shock cord strap at the belly band and over the top between the fan and air conditioner. I also use outdoor carpet pads at corner stress points. All to deal with tornado level winds here. No problems to date.

Thanks both of you. Could you just give me a ballpark figure for the cost of one of these? I sent a request to Calmark for a quote but doubt I hear from them before tomorrow and we are really curious. I like the look of it and it sounds like the ticket. We are going to build a garage, someday.
thanks a lot

One way to keep the tarp off the roof is to put swimming noodles crosswise on the roof. A great tip from one of our group.
