I like Novus, it takes time to do it right, But I find it works well, this is a three part system, I use it on my motorcycle windshield and my boat windshield

The Plexus works wonders on small scratches from previous rubbing.

I've been using it on my motorcycle windshield for 20 years and use it on my trailer, its like night & day after cleaning with Plexus.

Hopefully, what you call plexiglass is actually "lexan" or a similar polycarbonate material that is stronger, not so easy to scratch.
Te best stuff for "bullet proof" was a product called MarGard-5000.

I speak from many years experience with both 'Lexan' (polycarbonate) and 'Plexiglass' (acrylic): Acrylic (early developed) is somewhat scratch resistant but cracks easily, because it is hard. I refuse to use Acrylic for M/C windshields because, when it breaks, the edges are as sharp as a knife, and deadly.
Polycarbonate ( later developed) on the other hand, can almost be tied in a knot (if thin enough), but because it is soft, scratches much more easily. Even the 'Hard-Coated Polycarbonate', as used on factory M/C windshields, is easily scratched.
