Ray, if you're talking about the molded fiberglass Quantum 5th wheel, it's no longer manufactured, and hasn't been for years. In all the time I've been a member of this forum, I've only seen 3-4 for sale, and often the trailer(s) are sold between members.

Donna, thank you for letting me know. I have spent considerable time doing web searches to no avail. Too bad, we thought we had found just what we wanted, small, dual axle, large windows including a front window, double sink, etc. I will watch just-in-case a used one surfaces, thanks again, Ray

Keep an eye out for a double-axle BigFoot 5th wheel too. I think you'll find most of the items you're looking for in a trailer can be found in the BigFoot.
Unfortunately, the BigFoot 5th wheel is no longer being manufactured either, but at least you'll see more availability than the Quantum.

Hi: Ray...Sorry our Escape 5.0 191/2' 5th. wheel doesn't measure up. We just returned from Ont. Bolerama 2008 and received rave reviews from most all 100+ Fiberglass Owners at the rally. Check over @ Escape trailers in Chiliwack B.C. as they are in your neck o' the woods.

They certainly have a good reputation, and are only 45 km from us. However, I only wish I was in a position to afford new, I am thinking 5 or 6 thousand. The other issue is that I have a single axle now and 3 years ago I had a blow-out on it (busy hiway, now where to get of, had to change it (drivers side) with semi-trailors etc. nearly blowing me over) and it has sort of tainted my enjoyment on the road, so really want a double axle, Ray

I can understand your comprehension. But what would you do under the circumstance, if you weren't towing a trailer and had a blow out on the tug??? I doubt you drive a vehicle that's got two wheels all the way around. I only mention it, because you're focusing on the trailer single-axle, but so does the tug. You can pull all the double-axle trailers around, but it doesn't change the tug single-axle problem. A blow out or flat tire, the position is the same.
