First Hand Opinion here....
You're close to California Car Cover....call'em!
I bought one of their custom made covers last spring, installed it in the
fall on the same day as some other r/v owners (in our complex) installed a brand new much more generic (spelled CHEAP up here in these parts) cover on their larger 5th wheel. Within a coupla weeks (over the fall/winter) the cheaper cover 'developed' countless repair patches on the cover.
Present count is up to seven patches, and there is no sign of the owners removing the cover to use the trailer.
Two weeks ago I removed the California C/C not knowing what to expect.
To my surprise the trailer was as clean and shiney as the day we covered it. IMHO: you DO get what you pay for and I know MANY on this board will state its NOT necessary to go to that extreem ($$ wise) for a cover.
...their call, but OUR trailer, painted (when we first started using it), washed twice (once after the
paint job to get shop 'dust' off of it and second time, just after we moved the trailer and ourselves to our new location) and NEVER waxed, cause it never needed it.
