Question Door gasket question

Hi! We have a 1982 Scamp 16' trailer. The door gasket has come loose and I am thinking we should probably use new gasket material. Any recommendations on what to use?

Also, concerning the placement of the gasket material - when you close the trailer door, does the door cover the gasket material or does it rest inside the perimeter of the gasket material?

Thank you!

You can get a new gasket from Scamp, and its pretty reasonable.
