I had read somewhere that pop-up owners frequently use a de-humidifying product called, I believe, Dri-Wick. It is a cannister with a wick that decreases moisture in a small space. Thought it might be a good idea in the Casita as a mildew preventative with our outrageous humidity here in the Deep South. Looked for it yesterday at Wal-Mart with no luck. Any ideas about where to find this product?

I'm not sure that I have seen that particular brand (could have, though). There are several on the market. Places like The Container Store (see link below), Linen 'n Things, and even a lot of grocery stores have them in the Laundry section. Wal-Mart may have it in another section like in the closet/storage area or where the detergents are.

Hope this helps.

It's called Dri-Z-Air; a little plastic jug with a water-absorbing dessicant (calcium chloride, same stuf the NW Canadians use on gravel roads to keep dust down) that needs to be emptied occasionally.

Seen them at XMarts, including Wally, and marine places, including West.
