easy fix for old looking kitchen cabinet doors

The doors were in bad shape and since I knew I would be painting them any way I found some texture wall paper on line (in Canada) with a pretty pattern and it also was paint able> This is how we came up with the kitchen color to go with the fabric I also found on line. Oh I was having so much fun with little camper until Lee moved it out on the grass to wash it yesterday and for got to move the new micro wave. Yep never plugged in and now in the dump. Here are some more pictures Jo

Very good idea and looks so nice, color is great! Sorry about the microwave. Every think about replacing it with a convection/microwave ? I'm thinking about doing that in my camper and house kitchen.

Happy Camping

This could also be great for those of us who like to change the look of things every once in a while. Just strip off the old wp, apply new, and change the color scheme!

I thought for a moment it was Lincrusta - the original washable wallpaper from 150 years ago that is actually textured linoleum. However that wouldn't be a good choice for a FG trailer as it's not light. I love applying it, as it's a halfway house between decorating and woodwork.

Lincrusta

kitchen cabinet wall paper

The texture wall paper I used on our kitchen doors can be re painted up to 10 times so changing the color to make a new look would be no problem. Thanks Jo
