Too bad about your Trillium outback. Do you care to elaborate?
Door , Windows , wiring ...glue smears everywhere ...we definitely spent time and money on it after purchase ...poor service ....it was in way better condition when we sold it .

How does one special order a 13' Escape? Even the 15' seemed kind of big for me! I'm just one guy.

On another note, it's kind of funny that one of the first pics you see on Escape's website is a bright yellow Jeep Wrangler.... which can now officially tow none of the vehicles in Escape's lineup since the 15 has been discontinued. Maybe it had an engine swap, ha!

The reason for the elimination of the 13 from the line, was that the 15 was only a bit heavier, and not much more cost, so unless you have a cramped parking space, the 15 was the go to model folks bought. Plus, a bathroom could be squeezed in better as an option, should it be desired.

But, if you were seriously considering, talk to Escape. If they get enough interested people, or you were willing to pay for the extra production costs of a one off unit, they just might do it.

Thanks! I am definitely going to talk to them. I want a 13'. I've been peeking at the 15A they have new.... but it's just too big! My parking spot is exactly 13' long. And, I really like my living quarters cozy.... I'm weird like that. And, well..... the 13' is just a whole lot cuter looking than the 15 to me.... and, of course, with my underpowered Jeep Wrangler every pound counts.... but mainly I just love the way the 13' looks and need it to fit in my parking spot!

Maybe look into a used Trillium 1300. Probably more cost effective.

Definitely. I actually tried to buy the one that popped up last week but lost out to the first interested party!

It's looking more and more like I will end up with a Casita Patriot.... as the price to feature ratio for a 13' seems fairly unbeatable.

Isn't that about the same as "Space"... see comment #18.
I heard the same argument when I bought my Ranger, and after 15 years it's still the best fit and the right-sized truck.
Buy size 16 shoes and you can use the extra "space" or "room" to store a couple changes of socks.
