Fiberglass/plastic propane tank

Just a heads up, Federal government shut down Lite Cylinder and took away their certification to make propane tanks.

They've made an emergency recall of 55,000 tanks.

Actually that happened close to 2 years ago but it does not hurt to refresh everyone's memory.

I didn't see it mentioned on this thread unless I missed it so I thought I would bring it up for those that hadn't seen it.

But the Viking brand is still good

It was in another thread but right after I sold one to another member here, we found it about the recall and that several companies went under. either way it does not hurt to refresh your memory. I do not think you can buy any more anywhere?

Lite cylinders are out of business, but you still can purchase other brands. I can't remember what the brand name is of the one I purchased, but it is 50 country certified, not jut 50 states.
