After one of my many late nights researching this site I desided on using Marine Tex to patch holes where an Air Conditioner panel had replaced the original back window in my Scamp 13. New window in and sealed and perfect, time to fill the holes. Other recommendations encourage the notion of a light Gel Coat touch up following a resin hardened putty followed by wet sanding for a weather tight and reasonably pleasing fix. My question is what brand Gel Coat touch up has worked best for others?

I used Evercoat from West Marine on a sail boat that had "Bouy Rash" for most its length.

Mix the first part and tint. Put a dot on the existing gel coat and adjust until it matches.

Then, when you are ready, mix in the second part.

Put a small sheet of mylar over the patch until it cures.

Then, wet sand with 600-grit or better.

You can use rubbing compound as a last touch-up.
