We had a Casita for 4 years and were very happy with it. But grandchildren happened and we wanted a second bed. So we sold the C for $4000 less than we paid and made a nice down payment on this 5.0. This is our third summer with it, the kids love it and I don't anticipate changing again.

My second was a Bonair hardtop, purchased second hand ($ 1850.00) kept till 2009, sold for $1200.00 with all my camping stuff
1975 Trillium, (Green Grape) purchased in 2011 for $2200.00,had to travel 250 miles One way) was in very good shape and didn't take a lot of fixing (but had no leakes) .Had to replace a lot of camping stuff I let go.so @ 75 YOA is on the go.

I bought the 13' Trillium in July, 1998. It was exactly what I wanted......simple to tow, set-up and had no leaks. Didn't have a furnace, had an ice box and two burner cook-top. Nothing to complicate things. Loved it for 14 years.....still love it. Gave it to my daughter so it would stay in the family.
But......as the years went by, I thought.....would be nice to have deep-cell battery, front dinette so I wouldn't need to switch the table, outside light......you know 'a little more room'. And happen to see the 4500 Trillium for sale in April 2012. Just what I wanted. This will be the one till I can no longer camp.

I have had my Cloud for 3 years now and I am still convinced it is the best purchase I have ever made. It is a work in progress but I use it in between modifications. In my first 3 years it has followed me around 10000 miles and has allowed me to see places I wouldn't have been able to see without her plus I love the attention she gets when we have her out an about. I spend a quarter of my day just meeting new people, answering questions, and giving tours if my Cloud which I lovingly call my "Escape Pod".

In a fairly short time, couple of years - I have had (in order but overlapping) a 76 Trillium 13. 2010 Scamp 16. 75 Boler 13, 99 Scamp 13 & currently a 2008 Casita 17. Loved them all & wouldn't hesitate to buy any of them again. However must say that the Casita seems to fit our needs best for now but I am still adjusting to the concept of pulling something so big around!
Just wish I had a bigger yard so I could keep a fleet!

Just a bare 19 years. My wife saw it in a used trailer yard, bought it and came home to tell me to go and tow it home. We've since repainted it, Replaced the axle, added a screen door, redone the interior with a permanent bed and two-person dinette, added exterior hatches to access the old seat areas, it's been to the western provinces several times and attended quite a few Boleramas east and west.
We often keep a small sign in the door window that just says. "NO it's NOT".

I've had my UH since 2005. Didn't camp so much the first 3 years, but been using it regularly since then.

So true, over the years I have used truck campers and motorhomes and have to say the current trailer which I have had for 6 years has worked out the best so far. Lots of great memories with it. Is it my forever trailer or the trailer I would own if I won the Lotto tomorrow? Nope not by a long shot but I love it just the same.

We took delivery of our 13' Scamp on December 15 2005.
I have no idea how many miles it's been towed, but it's a bunch. This year it's been towed about 7,000 miles and slept in about 120 nights so far. This year is a bit lower in miles and usage than the last two years.
The first 4 years it was out some place every month for at least a couple nights and 2 to 3 weeks in the summer.
Now that were among the retired set our short trips are usually around 10 days and the long ones close to a 100 days. The SW is great in the winter.
My other RV is a 45 lb backpack. Typical camp.
