I am brand new to this group and researching trailers.

A significant issue is the inside height of a trailer. I was recently dismayed to discover how short the Casita trailers are inside. I am 6' 5" tall and there are few trailers that would not be pretty uncomfortable for an extended stay. I have noticed that the new EggCamper trailers are tall enough but I am looking for a used trailer.

I have managed to compile a list of specs for a variety of trailers but the older ones are hard to get information on. So I'm wondering if the group has information about which of the out-of-production trailers might be at least 6' 5" inside (more is better).

I have the following:

Oliver - 6' 1"
ICamp - 5' 11"
Escape - 13 and 16 - 6' 2"
19 - 6' 5"
EggCamper - 6' 7" (excellent)
Casita 16 - 5' 9" to 5' 10"
17 - 6' 2"
Outback - 6' 2"

I can't remember if all of those are fiberglass but the rest of my list is certainly not.

Welcome to the site.
As you might imagine, the search function can be your friend.

Just one of many that popped up with a simple 2 word search.

Some feel the time spent inside makes the lower inside clearance less important but only you can decide for you.

Check out a Compact Jr. I think it is 5'5" down and 6'5" deployed.

Hi Kurt! Welcome to Fiberglass RV! I'm 6'5" tall also. I have found that the interior height of the trailer isn't nearly as important as the bed length. You only stand up to cook or do dishes, but you sleep for hours... I have a Bigfoot 25' that I can stand upright in and has a full size 80" queen mattress... there really aren't many trailers you'll be able to stand in.

Good luck in your hunt for the perfect trailer!
