Hi Ivan, and welcome. Some Lander fans have been here and speak very highly of this trailer.

Are you the inventor?

Welcome!

Your English is just fine. It is perfectly understandable, and also has that certain Italian charm added. We are all completely used to the English of native speakers and maybe a little bit bored with it even

I, too, would love to see photos of the inside of your Lander. The European caravans that I've seen have really nice interiors with good craftsmanship.

We do have (at least) one other Italian forum member with a Lander, so you are not completely alone (I think hers is slightly smaller).

Are you related to the Lander company? Or do you just happen to have the same name.

Again, welcome!

Raya

Ivan:

It looks like a combination of the Boler and Uhaul or Burro. The Lander does not have the plain lines of the Boler; it is curvier. It does have the Center division like the Boler, that is the top and bottom, not side by side like the UHaul and Burro The Burro and UHaul have curvier lines than the than the Boler, but more curvier than the Lander. So if you combine the Boler and the UHaul, taking the top and bottom combination of the Boler and adding slightly less than the curve of the UHaul and making it a little darker tan, you kind of end up with the Lander. Don't you think?

I can tell you haven't tried to fit shelves or counters to a Boler lately. Curve city!

(Funny how perceptions are; I "see" Bolers as curvier than Burros or Trilliums) (And I like square, hence my "square" cars)

I don't see anything, but you might make use of Google translator for a particular section. I've found it very helpful. You can paste in text or enter a URL:

Raya Hi, thanks for the translator. The language is very limited. I have written more because I could not quote and speak to large problems. Google this is a great idea! Thanks, Ivan.

Ivan,

You are welcome!

I went to France after only having studied the language for a few months. I lived there for half a year with a family. So I understand what you are saying. I could make myself understood for basic things, but I could not discuss anything more complicated because my language skills were limited.

Sometimes I felt like people couldn't really get to know the "real" me becaused of that. I would sit at the table with a group of peole and think "Oh, if only I could speak this language like I can my native language, then I could really contribute more to the conversation."

Or someone would tell a joke and by the time I looked up the words in my dictionary I would be laughing five minutes late.

After I was there for a few months it got better, and I could speak in tenses, throw in conditional clauses, etc. But of course I was there, immersed in it, which helped. Now I think I"ve forgotten it all! I would so love to get back to Europe.

Back to caravans, I love the little one in your photo! It resembles yours, so it must be a little Lander. I like the shape it has. I'd love to see what it looks like inside!

Ciao,

Raya

Hello Raya, in the first part of your post you've explained perfectly what are the difficulties of language.
The caravan in the picture is a Levante Graziella 300 (1960).
The Levante Lender the name changed in 1973.
Now I'm at work. When I can send you photos of: Lander Graziella 340, Lander Graziella 401, Lander Graziella 474 (the my), 474 Lander Lineatre. Greetings.
Ivan.
