Misc Stuf

Just a couple of things I have discovered:

I wanted a mini-plumber's helper and found one in vinyl at the Ace Hardware store in Pahrump NV for less than $4

I am having some troubles adjusting the Climate Control Devices (aka wheels) under my S13 and somehow made it rain a bunch in Death Valley!! Attempting to fix that, I discovered the snowline was at about 6,200' near Tonopah NV. My ventfree ODS Empire heater worked fine when I spent the nite in Tonopah at 6,075'.

Pete, good to hear your climate control devices are still rolling down the road!

I envy your full-time lifestyle!

And, I won't ask why you needed/wanted the plumber's helper.

Stay safe!

My Scamp has a trap under the sink, which then feeds into a piece of garden hose to the exterior fitting. I often wind up with a clog of fine-grind coffee grounds in the line; I tried using weedwhacker line, but that's messy.

BTW, in the rear of my Scamp, the wall carpet and floor carpet overlap. One of the results of window drain blockage and winter-use condensation was water collecting between the two carpets, the wall insulation and the floor. What I did was peel both carpets back an inch or so and have inserted some plastic screen (roof gutter leaf mesh, actually), which has allowed the area to ventilate and dry out.

So far, the RatLadies haven't messed with it (the floor is an allowable rat-roaming place at excercise time, as opposed to some No-Rat Zones elsewhere in the Scamp); if they do, I will replace it with hardware cloth.
