My shine is back

Here are the pictures I promised. It finally quit raining long enough to mow the grass and snap a few pics. This was after using rubbing compound and Nu Finish.

Beautiful job!

And a very smart looking rig that is, too. Even the pup seems proud!

Hey Adrian

Are you sure you're not spoofin' us? I'll bet you went out and got a brand new Scamp!

Well it sure looks like one anyway. And did you know that hi-wax shine gets you at least two-miles per gallon better gas mileage? (Or at least that's the story the Charles told me once.);)

I've been reading all these posts about Nu-Finish. I've been there and done that - quite a few years ago. Wasn't impressed with the job - until now. :)

don't you think the rubbing compound had a lot to do with the shine?

rubbing compound

Yes the rubbing compound made a huge difference. I had orginally put Nu Finish on the Scamp and it looked pretty good, but was still a little dull and had a yellowish hue to it. The rubbing compound got rid of the yellow tint and helped with the shine. I still swear by Nu Finish for maintaining a shine though. I have used it for years and it really does last longer than anything I have used, plus it is so easy to wipe off.

Meguires #45

It's been about 2 months since polishing, hasn't been washed or wiped down. The trailer's 3 years old. Did anyone notice the door catch magnet?........not the hatch, the door! :)

But if this is gonna be a shine contest, where's Glen? We gotta hear from the California Casitas!

I think that Meguires is good stuff. I saw Suz trailer in person, and so pretty and white. no color change from age, It's great. She say Mequires is the cause.
