I want to paint the exterior cover for my hot water heater. Is a high temp paint required? Does anyone know where to find such paint in RV white?

Hi, I'm assuming you mean the hatch cover you have to lift to light the heater? I painted mine with regular old Rustoleum Paiter's Choice. 5,000 miles, 9 months and many hours of gas heat and no discoloration. The white is as close as can be for us - do a swatch to check.

Hope this helps

This is not a direct answer to your question, but they sell replacement doors separately at any good RV store for around $25.
