Paint/gelcoat touchup

My Gypsy Wagon came with a little scrape I'd like to touch up before I try refinishing with polygow. Checked old posts but am wondering if anyone has come up with a better or newer product. Scamp told me to try auto touch up paint. Not sure what color you'd call the old gal - some version of an off white - ivory .....

Your photo did not post so I can't see the scrape, but gel coat is thick where paint is thin.

If you just want the color to match use paint. If you want the result to be smooth use gel coat. With some effort you can match the color with either.

Gel coat is not a good choice for this scrape.

It is next to the grate which I believe is the fridge exhaust.

My suggestion is to paint it.

Another idea is to use truck bed liner on the front to stop digs from rocks thrown up by your TV and bring it around the sides to cover the scrape.

There are quite a few deep scratches and lots of spider cracks but it looks like most of the discoloring is material left on the fiberglass. I'd try scrubbing the black marks with something first. I bet most of the black would come off. If it is green instead of black it needs some work.
