Paint or not?
Any pros or cons about paintng front propane regulator to better blend in with Boler bottom? Want it to be less conspicuous!

Doing an image search I did see some that came painted in green, brown or red. But I also found what might be a practical solution to your cosmetic concern, you could even paint it should you want a different color. It is a plastic cover that fits over the regulator to clean up the appearance. Inexpensive and since it snaps on the job is accomplished in a few seconds versus trying to get a regulator cleaned up, then masked and then painted.

Painting Regulator
I would avoid getting paint in the vent hole.

Could cause malfunction if it gets into the wrong places. Buy a cover or leave as is.

regulator cover
I run a single tank, no battery, regulator mounted on plate that is riveted to front of Boler shell. Two diaphrams, one above the other. This cover doesn`t look like it would fit, really. Am I not seeing something?

That's a picture of a regulator, not of your setup. If we had a picture of your setup, someone might have a solution that doesn't involve painting the regulator.

I've painted a regulator before. It does no harm at all. Just mask over the adjustment screw cover (the blue one in the photo). Also tape over the bottom hole and hose inlets. Use a primer for galvanized metal, followed by a gloss enamel of your choice - hopefully one that comes close to matching your Boler's shell. I used a small paintbrush, but I see no reason why you couldn't spray it as long as it's masked.

I would not put a cover over a propane tank for any reason if you want to go for it just not for me!
