Power cord hatch

I'm rebuilding the Trillium. Long story, and I'll post a whole slew of pictures with text when I'm done. However, I'm in a huge time crunch right now. Suffice to say we gutted everything.

In the process, I need to replace the power cord cable hatch, grey water drain, shore water intake and water tank fill ports. All were very badly UV faded/cracked. Found most of the parts I needed online, but no directions.

So, do I use putty tape behind them? Caulk (I can hear the gasps!) around them? Just rivet them in place with no seal?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Butyl underneath, nothing over the top... unless it's a top vent... then using Proflex or some other NON-silicone around the edge would be appropriate. It's not needed on vertical surfaces.

Hope this helps

I just finished installing a city water inlet and a fresh water tank filler on my Scamp. I used Proflex caulking between these and the unit and installed them with rivets.

Thanks. I have plenty of butyl, I'll use that.
