Removing stick ons

What is the best way to remove the foam glue pads on soap dishes, glass holders and hooks etc. that seem to be permantly stuck to the inside walls of my Trillium 1300 without scratching or damaging the surface?
Thanks in advance. D.

Hi Dave
Try paint thinners and a plastic scraper. I have use a metal razor scraper but you must be very careful.

I have combined a plastic scraper with Goo Gone.

Warm the sticky up with a hair dryer first, then it will peel off easily, this is especially important if the glue is on panelling. If any residue remains then clean it off with GooGone or WD40.

+1 After the heat gun, the paper peels right off and all you need to do is dissolve the adhesive with mineral spirits.
