Hello campers! We are new owners of a 1983 Casita. We bought it as a 13 ft. but the actual camper is around 10 ft. It is so cute!
We do have a problem-there are rust spots from screws-how can that be removed and not hurt the finish? Thanks

Elbow grease and a good automotive car polish of your choice.

We have had excellent results removing rust spots with 3M Marine Fiberglass Cleaner/Wax available at boating supply stores.

ZUD or C-L-R is worth a try. Once cleaned off, wax really well and replace whatever is rusting. A good waxed finish makes cleaning road grime, pitch, etc. a lot easier to get off.

Hi: We used a product called Iron Out avail. at our local hardware store. We also use it for our water softener so it is safe but makes the iron stain smell of sulphur while its working on it.
