Sources please. My 1978 Burro needs trim

My Burro is cleaning up nicely. Perforated top fixed. The 5/8" vinyl trim that clinches the two shells is totally shot. Where can I find 25feet of that?
Thanks in advance.

You might have success at finding that trim or an acceptable substitute at your nearest RV parts & service department. I've had to replace the center band trim on the Littlefoot a couple of times. 25 cents/foot.

I bought some of a different size to trim raw fiberglass edges inside my UHaul. Be sure to click on "item details" to see all sizes available. If you buy from JC Whitney be sure to Goggle for a coupon code. There is almost always a deal going on.

Its called "Trim-Lok", which is a brand, but it seems to have turned into a generic name just like "Kleenex" has for all snot rags.

I redid my 13ft Burro. I purchased mine thru an auto upholstery place and have seen it retail in various auto/rv/boat supply stores. Its inexpensive and if you want it right away, you can just go buy it rather than wait AND pay shipping charges. Take some of the old stuff with you to get an exact size and fit.

On mine, the edges of the seam were very un even and I had to trim some of the excess flange down to get it to fit easily. Not much, but it sure helped with the "Buldge" in some areas. Apply it "Backwards"..put the open side of the trim away from you and roll it towards you, like you would with plastic wire loom. Seat it as you go.

I used a small light hammer to get it to seat from the top of the seam. I recall I got bout 30 feet and had some left over. Its so inexpensive that it was not a loss.

Thanks Gina,
I will tackle this soon. JCC Whitney offers 20' rolls, and I fear it is a couple feet short of my needs.
I am wrapping up the major rehab and the trim is the glaring eye-sore.

No luck locally. Thanks Thomas, and a tip of the hat, for the source and suggesting searching for the coupon. Saved 30%. Then spent half that on expedited shipping. : )

Charley, I've seen your posts/photo about the grey water (great idea! ) but not finding any overall pics of the rehab. I'd love to see photos of your lovely 'lady' as soon as she is 'presentable'.
