I agree that there is a lot of good information out there, and I appreciate the significant effort which people have put into assembling it.
Nothing is perfect, and it's not worth worrying about the trivial stuff, but I noticed a couple of things which are worth some caution: - many people seem to assume that there is one size and type of battery used by all golf carts, but this is not correct - it would be bad to go out and buy a "golf cart" battery and get something different from what was expected
- 8V golf cart batteries are available, and not useful to us (Exide lists one 8V model, Trojan has three)
- there are multiple sizes of 6V golf cart battery (e.g. Trojan has two)
- the parallel battery cabling shown will work, but will tend to overwork one of the batteries
- all of the current through the lower battery in the "12volt Side of Life" diagram goes through an extra set of interconnecting cables, and thus through more resistance, so that battery will tend to get charged less and deliver less than it's share
a better plan is to move one of the cables from the upper battery (in the drawing) to the lower,the paths through each battery are similar (each including one interconnecting cable)

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.
