Good morning FG buddies! At last, the final details of new to us Snoozy exterior
renovation are complete! We brought er home from the shop, yesterday! We originally thought we'd like an auto
paint exterior, but were convinced that the gel coat was completely saveable. How GREAT that we found such a
fiberglass master!!
There were gel coat cracks& repairs like that to be made, which were kind of scary to these newbies. We wanted to start~ from scratch. A new AC to install was essential. A new
fiberglass cover that had to be completely- remade- since we were sent ~the wrong size
, a new maxx air fan, etc. etc. All done to perfection!
We wanted a like new trailer, and we got it! I was simply ~amazed~ at the final product. He even gave a tutorial on decal installing to my husband, so we do have a whole new "look" to the Snoozy.
Long story short, we found the BEST
fiberglass restoration person, right here in Orlando! He was extremely competent, did everything and more that we wanted. He installed a new 8,000 btu AC,& a Maxx air fan as if it were factory installed. First class job in every way!
This business, which I'm so happy to refer to anyone seeking such, is Land& Sea detailing, in Orlando. Such a pleasure to recommend such an artist who takes great pride in his work. He had all sorts of fiberglass craft in his shop, but to know he did travel trailers, RV's, was incredible. Excited to be starting out with a like new, personalized camper with such wonderful climate control. Having MS presents a few challenges with camping, but these additions, are going to make a world of difference for me!! P.S. still can't figure out how to post pictures here
