I live in southern Utah.
What we have is sun
all year long
lots and lots of sun
I don't have a garage for my egg and I don't have a cover because it looks like one heck of a lot of work to put one of those on and take it off.

So what I have done (it is no yet a year old) is have this young lady come out to my place with a van that has all the detail goodies and she washes then "spray" waxes it. She comes out every three months like clockwork... cost me $50 each time.

So is my shiny egg gonna fade anyway? Will that wet wax work to keep a shine?

Hi: If you have someone who makes"Casita Calls" you have it "Made in the Shade"!!! Does She do floors and windows as well??? I think very highly of the wax/wash products and have used them to keep the shine on all my "TOYS"

With THAT kinda service available, and in the kinda weather you have there, I'd be lookin to have this service MONTHLY.. MAYBE a deal could be cut for less $$ IF you use the service more often???

Full wax job four times a year My trailer should be so lucky....I'm a once a year waxer. When not out camping, my trailer is under a carport...so once a year is adequate. I think a full garage would have been great, but the carport was about 1/6 the cost....and bigger. Maybe a carport is something you should consider

My dad has some classic cars so his garage and driveway are full but he has a gravel pad out back. He bought a $200 portable garage from Costco and put it up... It went up simply and has provided shade for one of his cars and my boler 1300 over the years... Down in southern alberta, we get lots of heavy wind but the thing has stayed put. During one wind storm, with over 100kph gusts, a couple of the 3foot long spikes did get pulled out of the ground but the garage has held up great.

It looks kind of like this but is taller:
