Now that's an egg! I was thinking earlier today that once I had asked about the Eggcamper "Teardropp" and got a "well, that is teardrop and not an egg" but a lot of the trailers here don't look like an "egg" but are still fiberglass trailers. I wondered though was the two halves together what caused it to be called an "egg", like the Easter eggs?

But oh! The tow vehicle it would take.

Kinda neat, and lots of good hard work went into it. Not sure how one could really use it. Not to keen to sleep stuffed on a shelf.

It would be a great tiny house. I have been following the tiny house movement and this would fit either putting it on a trailer or a foundation. Actually, this looks like it would be bigger than many of the tiny houses with much better storage area. They design some pretty unique and wonderful houses when they have design competitions.

It would not be all that hard to do, the hardest part would be doing a design and getting the stations (moulds) set up to lay the planks on. I am sure someone with the right software could do it. Heck, maybe the same software boat builders use could be implemented.

You could do strips wider than those used in canoes or kayaks, except maybe on the corners. I have been working on a canoe for two years, and am just about ready to glass the inside of the hull. Life seemed to get in the way.

Buddy of mine builds an ice (fishing) house like that every year. Sells it for a profit and does another for the next year.

I actually ran across this design during one of my idle-speculation-searches related to my longstanding fantasy about building a glassed trailer with an internal structure made of the bamboo that we grow here on our property.
