James, thanks for measuring that. I think you only will drop 1/2 of your wheel diameter, or 4 1/2" when your using 15" rim. I tried to open your PDf but it had issues.

Danny,
I think you are right on the drop but got the rim sizes mixed up.
Here is a better link to the PDF - don't know if it was the one James intended to post:

Only using two fingers?
Here are some hints:

Control + C = Copy
Control + V = Paste

you'll only drop the distance ...thats the difference between the measurment from the top of the tire(or bottom) to the center of the wheel hub.

and from your measurments it appears to be approx 5" or less of a drop

Jeepers! This thread is almost two years old and still my comment comes back to haunt. Please read DannyH's comment from March 2009.

Our is a 17'4" X 7'11" boler made in Earlton Ontario, and is 8' plus high without extra max vent height. Original tires are 75r15" (st 205r 15") with 30psi inside headroom is 6'6" tongue height is 18" plus vents at 4" plus floor and roof thickness so 8'5" without extra height of maxair units. Problems with smaller tires is weight rating.

Thank you very much. This info is extremely helpful, as I am also looking for a trailer to fit into my garage.

We just bought a 13' Boler and it just fit in our garage on the normal wheels - we did let a little air out and put it back in once it was inside. It was tight but we didn't even have to put the smaller rims on that we had purchased.
