Does anyone out there know how to remove tree sap from fiberglass?

I use a product call "Tarminator" and I have 2 huge pines in my Front Yard.

Works well and I just like saying the name too!

I hear a Coke a Cola scrub followed by a good wash to get rid of the sweet, syrupy gunk works well (at least it does on autos).

Thanks for all of the great solutions. I'll probably try the rubbing alcohol because I have some (I use it to get ticks off of my dog) on hand. Also LOVE the brand name Tar minator . . . .

Mayonnaise or peanut butter. Truly. I once parked a vehicle under a big ole drippy Sugar Pine and that sticky stuff was all over the hood of my truck. A fellow hotrodder came over and smeared mayo on all the spots and in a few hours I went to the car wash and washed the mayo and sap off! No harm to the wax or finish. YMMV

I know, who would think Mayo? or Peanut Butter? It's kinda like removing gum from a kids hair. Mayo and Peanut Butter are oily and it works to soften and remove sap without damaging a surface or removing wax. I kid you not

Mayo also works to remove the sticky sales tags and labels from jars.

The rubbing alcohol worked really well . . . there's still a bit to remove and I need to go out and buy some more. This sap is, like, petrified. Goodness knows how long it's been stuck to the top of the Acorn. The alcohol kind of brings it "back to life" as it were. Anyways, it was a great tip. Thanks!
