I want to replace the Trim-Loc on top of my
Burro. Should I apply silicone caulk to the seam first? I already replaced the part below the
windows without caulk, and the bottom doesn't want to stay put. My second question is: has anyone ever painted the inside of a
Burro or similar? The former owners left about a thousand screws in the inside walls (it was being used as a storage building), which left a thousand (well, maybe a couple of dozen) holes. Also, the finish is more yellow than white now. I thought if I filled the holes with caulk of some kind and primed the walls with Stix primer (which claims to stick to anything) I could put some kind of textured
paint on the walls. I plan to cover the kitchen counter with formica, so won't need to
paint there. I also would like to replace the vent, if it's not too difficult; I'm not one of these handy people.
