Hi: All... I decided to start cleaning the old foam cushions from our '73 Boler. I dissolved 1/2 c. of powdered dishwasher soap in 1/2 full laundry tub. This type of soap has some bleach in it and is low sudsing so the rincing was easier to do inside the house. I rolled them in towels and they are drying out on a rack under the furnace vent.
The longest cushions will have to be done in the bath tub tomorrow!!!
The colour of the water going down the drain was !!!

Hey Alf
Do we get any pictures of your project? I thought that the 5`iver was your new love.
Have you tried Oxy-Clean? I don`t think that it uses bleach that could tear down the material.

Hi: James Kent... The cover fabric was toast. Tried to unzip them and the teeth flew in all directions.
I will be ordering new from Scamp but I will re use the foams. This trailer I saved from the "Wreckers Ball".

Pink Solution works wonders for almost ALL cleaning jobs. I just used it to get very old dried on mustard stains from a pair of black 'blue' jeans.
