I have my (new to me) 2003 16' Scamp. The previous owner stored it outdoors and I believe he had it washed and waxed annually. I purchased some special gelcoat wash and the gelcoat wax. Are there any tips in doing this that would make it easier or better? Polish by hand or with a machine?

John, by hand is best and don't use a high-pressure spray as it will tend to dislodge the sealing material around the windows and other through-hulls.
