Water line issue

This has been written about, I'm sure. But for some reason the site isn't allowing me to filter the threads.

My Boler has one of those hand pump faucets, only the water doesn't make it past a certain level and then trickles slowly back into the holding tank. We're without water. Is the issue with the pump or the line?... I'm a total novice here. If it's an issue with the line, where does the hose go when it goes down. (I mean, is it a huge job? Does it require getting down and underneath, taking the holding tank out? I kind of just want to go camping. It was long winter.)

Thanks for the tips or the filtered leads.

For future reference, by far the best way to search here is to use the Google box at the bottom of the search pull down. See illustration below.

It could be that the pump check valves are bad or that you have an air leak in the hose between the tank and the pump. If the hose and connections look good and the filter is not blocked, I'd probably pop for a new hand pump. These have been recommended.
