Some inconsiderate person put cigarette burns on the fibreglass countertop, before I got the trailer.
Does some kind person know how to get those stains off ?
I am scared to sand it, as it will ruin the shine, and it still might be stained, and the finish would be ruined, too.

I went to walmart today and found this stuff that is used for marine hulls, boy does it work good! It is made by Starbrite and is a marine hull cleaner. It will take of black streaks, seaweed stains, rust and all sorts of things and it is safe for fiberglass. We used it on our Uhaul and it worked GREAT! Just thought I would pass this along, it sure sold me. After we cleaned it with this we washed it good with our rv wash then we are going to use 303. Maggie

I don't think it's a stain Penny...bet it's a burn. Not much you can do except sand it down and repair. Fiberglass is not as forgiving as wood when it comes to heat.

Anyone have any ideas

Muriatic acid removes rust stains on fiberglass with no harmful effect. Don't get it on anything else. It will make good stainless steel rust.
