Ditto on the 2" memory foam topper here. Our Uhaul cushions are fairly hard; the topper makes it as comfy as home. We then leave the bed made up. As dinette seats, our cushions leave a lot to be desired anyway. You always feel like you are going to slide off onto the floor. Since we already have a front dinette (which we usually don't use anyway; we eat in the screenhouse ourside), we don't have to have the rear dinette.

A real wool fleece mattress pad does the trick for the dinette bed. link

And the bunk up front has springs cannibalized from a daybed.

Cut 6" foam mattress to fit

$160 6" full size memory foam mattress from Amazon. I cut it with an electric carving knife. VERY comfortable.

Our bed is made into a permanant unit and We have a 2" memory foam topper on top of the Boler cushions. I sleep better there than at home. A brown pop can it's own advantages to make you sleep but beware..... Overdoing it can make the morning horrible.
