What do you do to make the bed more comfortable?
Got any great ways to make the bed more comfortable? We have a 13ft
Boler, and the cushions are fairly hard. Think we've tried a blow up mattress on top and it just didn't work well for us (we are tossers and turners and every little movement sent us bouncing up and down... LOL) Camping mat perhaps? Just pile the blankets on under a sheet?? Other ideas? What have you found works for you?

A foam topper? Therm-a-Rest? Feather Tick? A couple of quilts? New cushions?
A couple of no name Therm-a-Rests worked for my wife and I.

We simply through a couple sleeping bags on top of the cushions and crawl in and go the sleep. Sometimes, mainly if we haven't been out in the trailer for a couple months it takes 2 or 3 nights to get the comfortable feel back.

We use Memory Foam on top of the cushions on both the main bed and hubby's front bunk. We gave up on trying to share the main bed that just wasn't quite big enough - and we felt too old and sore to climb over each other. Each foam piece is enclosed in a cosy flannel sheet sewn into a long 'pillow case'. Keeps things from tangling up quite efficiently and is simple to take off for washing.

We don't use the original cushions, bought a 5" thick piece of foam, cut it to fit, and the bed stays made all the time. Flannel sheets if it's cold weather, otherwise cotton sheets and a quilt.

We searched for a TT with a full time queen bed with real mattress to begin with.
Too lazy and decrepid to convert cushions to a bed. Works for us.

Double Cushions.
We replaced the 30 year old foam with new firmer foam for our original cushions in the Fiber Stream. Then another Fiber Stream owner replaced their soft cushions with custom mattresses. We took those softer 4" cushions and put them on top of our firm 4" cushions, and covered the whole 8" with a fitted mattress pad. The bed is King Size, 75" x 80" and we use 600 thread count sheets. 4 King size pillows (2 each) for back rests and we use bed-lap trays for breakfast in bed. A down comforter in a duvet for cold nights... like sleeping on a cloud...

We use these small self inflating pads under the cushions. You only have to support the torso to get the little extra cushioning needed to get a comfortable sleep. We store the short cushions under each bench seat cushion for extra seating comfort.

No photo's of it, but I bought a memory foam topper from walmart...
BUT CHECK THE SIZE ON THE BOX, MINE SAID ITS A QUEEN, BUT IN REALITY ITS A LITTLE SHORTER AND NARROWER ALL THE WAY AROUND.
I wasn't paying attention and they wouldn't take it back after it was open. I should have bought a king. But spent a $100 bucks on it so added a strip of foam to help fill it in. Eventually I will replace it with 1 that totally fits it correctly.
But I sleep like a baby in my ParkLiner!

What do you do to make the bed more comfortable?
Why, I bring momma in with me to snuggle.
We just use the standard 5" foam our trailer came with, and we sleep like babies.

Hmmm. Go to bed with a book, or someone who's read one.
I got nothing helpful here. I like the firm Casita cushions the way they are.

We do the same thing with a 2" memory foam from Walmart. Sleeping bags go on top also when it gets chilly.

2" memory foam over the cushions which was a removable cover made out of a couple of flat sheets and a quilted mattress cover over that. Then make it up just like home with sheets and duvet and lots of pillows to make it comfortable for reading and movie watching. ;-)

Ditto on the 2" memory foam topper here. Our Uhaul cushions are fairly hard; the topper makes it as comfy as home. We then leave the bed made up. As dinette seats, our cushions leave a lot to be desired anyway. You always feel like you are going to slide off onto the floor. Since we already have a front dinette (which we usually don't use anyway; we eat in the screenhouse ourside), we don't have to have the rear dinette.

A real wool fleece mattress pad does the trick for the dinette bed. link
And the bunk up front has springs cannibalized from a daybed.

Cut 6" foam mattress to fit
$160 6" full size memory foam mattress from Amazon. I cut it with an electric carving knife. VERY comfortable.

Our bed is made into a permanant unit and We have a 2" memory foam topper on top of the Boler cushions. I sleep better there than at home. A brown pop can it's own advantages to make you sleep but beware..... Overdoing it can make the morning horrible.
