I purchased this trailer a few months ago and am very curious as to what make it is. It was made in 1975 and looks like it could be a compact II. However, there is a ridge that runs up the front roof area and the side windows are slanted forward. The interior is exactly like other compact II's however.

Could it be that they just changed the molds on the 1975 models??

My roof is also suffering from a "collapse" as I hear others have the same issue with the weight of the pop-up. Any suggestions?? Sean

Sean, in shape it looks like a Roy A Lite, that's been modified. See this for sale topic for some pictures in post # 7: 1964 roy a lite 17ft rare

Well scratch that idea, the roof line on the Roy A Lite is totally different... even without the bump up section.

Wow, that's neat. It looks like a Compact, a Trillium, and a Roy-a-Lite all got together and had a baby

Is that a recess molded into the front for a propane tank?

I like the touch of moderne streamlining

I guess there aren't any brand-name clues or logos on it

Could you post a few more pics?

Raya

If you are in Southern California my guess would be a Travel-Lite. You can compare it to the picture here.

Kind of looks like it might be a "Travel Lite," although the front edges of your side windows are slightly different, so maybe there was a variation.

I see in the picture they show the "other half" of the gas bottle cover where your trailer has the indentation.

Seems pretty rare! Neato

Can we see more?

It's got the ever popular Ford Pinto wheel covers!... But that doesn't help![lol]

Look at the upper rear side panel, if there are four small holes or evidence of them, that is where hunter[compact, compact Jr] used to put their labels as add ons, maybe it's some version of a hunter product, though I doubt it.
Nice trailer though! No title or old registration??

Am I missing the "Trail Lite" somewhere? I see the "Travel-Lite," but not the "Trail-lite."

Can you point me to it?

And... thanks for the photos! Nifty!

I am very good at mispelling names. I accidently posted the name "[b]Trail-lite" in my previous post. I have since changed it to "[b]Travel-Lite" which is correct. The synapses in my brain must have misfired and morphed two trailers together.

Trail-Mite + Travel-Lite = Trail-lite(not an actual trailer that I know of) *edit* someone has informed me that Trail-Lite is the name of a non fiberglass trailer

Well I guess that beats the "Mite-Travel"

Those combination names do start to blend a bit after a while.

Well what ever it is, it looks like it will be a great project. Is that a bathroom? Is it a wet bath? Or just a potty room. Thanks for posting pic's.
