I have just put in the last plywood floor piece and fiberglassed it in this morning, waiting for it to cure. Nest step is lifting shell of to take to the welders. My question is in tearing up the old plywood; I noticed that they glued it in. I remember reading on this site about a foam material being used between the floor and frame, but I can't find it. What have others used, glue or this foam?
I was surprised that bolers have 4 bolts securing the floor, I had to take out over 20 screws to get the plywood out of my
scamp. I also found out that I don’t like fiberglassing. This is my first time and I read a bunch of material on how to it before I started, but it is a sticky, goey mess to work with. Maybe it will grow on me. I'll have more question when I start fiberglassing a wall on how you keep the resin from running down to the bottom of the patch.
