What length is your sewer hose?
Do you also have the 90 degree elbow on the end?

10 footer no elbow but am rethinking it as there are parks that won't allow hookup without a restriction to there system a straight hose can block the flow if put to far in the line.

California Legal

I had posted about my new setup that allows for an airtight connection. Even though we are only draining grey water I got into trouble at one RV park in CA for not having an airtight connection into the sewer.
I now use a standard 3 inch slinky hose and a 90 degree threaded elbow for the sewer pipe connection. Why 15 feet? Well, seemed like a good compromise between 10 feet and 20 feet
BTW, this setup works much better than a regular garden hose because it doesn't get air locks, which can be a nuisance.

Having the elbow on the end with the part you put it into which has been required at a number of RV parks I have used. I use a 15' hose most often but I also carry another 10' and have a part to connect the two when needed although the need for the extra extension doesnt happen to often.

I have a 20' hose that I keep in the bumper. It has the 90 degree elbow with the threaded ring for an airtight seal, plus I have what I call "caterpillar legs" for a gradual slope from the trailer to the sewer. I forget what their real name is.

I didn't know the elbow was required at RV parks, my terminating end is just the hose that I stick in the hole. Every place I've been to has had hose holding contraption - a big rock. Insert hose in hole, place big rock on hose.

I have two 10 foot hoses and a coupler. I also have a 90 degree threaded adaptor to use at RV parks, if I remember to bring it along. If I forget, and the park requires the adaptor I just do a manual dump each day.

Best system : SewerSolution

No more mess. Super clean, space saver and plenty of hose.

Same here, but I don't think I've ever needed the second ten foot section except at the first park we stayed at right after buying our new camper - when we didn't have it. We went out the next day and bought the two-section kit and have never needed it in the three years since.
