just a newbie here looking to buy wdh and i just realized where ever you go the price changes-same brand-different price. cheap is good - but only if it works.
etrailer tends to have good prices once you figure in shipping. But shop around, including ebay and Amazon, once you have a specific model nailed down.
Tom's right, it pays to shop around. Google is your friend. AND, you may find [whatever] part cheaper when buying locally... if you have to pay S&H. Plus you get to see it when your own eyes and touch it first

I use etrailer pretty much exclusively for that type of thing. Great customer service is worth something to me, and they're usually as cheap, or not much more than everybody else.
Why don't you go to a large U-Haul Service Center.
They are very competitive and know what they are doing.
I read somewhere they are the largest installer of hitches.
I've used them for years.

Do they sell out the door? It sounds like he wants to install it himself. Personally, I will not let a shop work on my stuff. I've hated myself every time I have.
