Why is my refridgerator's Check light on?

I have LP Gas, but I'm not sure if the refridgerator will use it. Previously, my refridgerator was stuck running on DC, until I found the AC plug had fallen out behind the refrigerator. Once that was reconnected, it ran off AC. Today I found a construction crew had knocked my AC plug out of the 30 amp hookup, and everything had been running on battery all day.

I reconnected the 30 amp plug, but now my refrigerator says "Check". I don't know what to check.

Edit: Never mind, I just needed to turn it off and back on.

That light comes on to let you know that at some point the unit had no power. If I unplug shore power before I hitch up, it comes on. It will stay on even after power restored. Just turn fridge off, then back on. I like this feature that let's you know something stopped the fridge at some point.

I think you are right about what happened. I found the power cable had been knocked out of the island-thing, by some construction crew. I wonder why the propane did not kick in if the AC was down.

Was there propane to use (as in empty or the valves were closed?)

There is propane, but I don't know if I have to do anything to get the fridge to use it. My 2-burner stove works, so I know the propane is there. Somewhere.
