I have been trying to find a thread about wire gauges and have been unsuccessful so I decided to post the following FYI.

This is a nice, clear, description of the connections for an Escalade, Dexter DX-2, and Casita. Since the Dexter controller and Casita plug follow common industry practices, it is also applicable more generally; to me, the real new information is the decoding of the Escalade's connections.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

I would add that the Tekonsha/Sequent tech folks are eager to help and have access to the connections of most if not all makes, models and years of tow vehicles and the call is free.
