Xhose on TV?

Has anybody tried one of these yet? I've seen them on TV commercials.

If I'm reading it right, a 9' hose which weighs about 1/2 a pound - expands to about 25'.
For us it would use less room and weight. Any thoughts or reviews?

I wonder... will it stretch when merely pulled on? A 25' hose when expanded is only 9' long without water in it; what if the water spigot is 20' from the trailer? Does the owner have to turn on the water, and put a kink in the hose while trying to screw it onto the trailer fitting?

Somebody needs to be a guinea pig and buy one, and report to all of us.

You could use one of these quick connects that automatically shuts off the water on one end and a pressure regulator on the other.

That's another neat looking item I've never seen before. Checked the website for retailers nearby... um, apparently not available in the USA.

We had one with a 1/4 turn manual valve at one time for the garden. I think it was a gardena. Check out any place that has a garden center.

I think that a short length of normal hose from your trailer to the ground and a quick connect on the end of that would make everything easier.

My concern, if using this as a city-water supply hose, is what the inner hose is made from. Is it BPA and lead free? Is it free of toxic substances? Will it "taint" the water with some kind of odd flavor like many garden hoses do? The web site says nothing about it, which is a bit of a red flag to me. Interesting idea though.

dang it,,,when i read "increadable expanding hose" i pictured my sister in law putting on pantie hose,,,,,now i have to have that image surgicly removed from my brain.....
