13' Scamp Interior Fiberglass options

Hello all, I have a 83 13' Scamp that has the deluxe type interior, i have the shell off right now to work on a really bad frame and would like to go back with a standard kitchen so I can put a dinette in. Are there any salvage yards or aftermarket fiberglass that I can order so I don't have to hire a cabinet guy to build me one? Also is there any dinette kits? thanks in advance - I would be willing to trade my fiberglass.

I’m a bit confused, Joe. Could you clarify exactly what layout you have and what you’re looking for?

Sounds like it might be the deluxe model with a wraparound front galley, and you want a smaller side galley and a front dinette, perhaps?

Salvage fiberglass interior parts are few and far between. There are no fiberglass front dinette parts, and salvage kitchenettes tend to be rough.

Considering what you have done already I don't see why you can't apply those skills to modify what you have or build your own.
A cabinet makers skills are not required, just moderate handyman skills.
Nothing shown below required special tools or skills...

No fiberglass for upper or lower cabinets just ordinary materials and fasteners.
You can do this....Go for it!

i've seen many smaller kitchen setups - mine is all fiberglass that goes all the way almost to the front window and then only has a single bench seat - i'm not julia childs so i don't need that much kitchen space - but would like to sit across my wife for coffee and to play cards or to use for laptop.

thanks for the reply! I might just try to do it myself - thanks again!

I’d love to see a picture, Joe. I’ve never seen anything from the factory that looks like what you’re describing. Curiosity, mainly.

Best wishes with your renovation!

I will get some pics - its up on stands right now but the kitchen is almost in tact - i took the small cabinet space out already because the floor was almost gone that went under the front window - the old bench is gone but I still have the metal that went around the bottom.

Go to the Scamp site. They sell the fiberglass interior parts new. They can be pricey but if that's what you are looking for?
