I have a 1979 burro 13ft trailer that needs seat cushion covers. I contacted scamp to see if theirs would fit, but they did not respond. Can anyone help me with this? I am looking to sell this trailer soon and wanted to get a few things in order before placing it on the market.

peace, David

I have a feeling the Scamp covers wouldn't fit very well. This is based on comparing a U-haul (Burro clone as far as basic shape) and a Boler (Scamp is a clone).

I think the burro seats are more straight across the back and front, with curved edges, whereas the Scamp seats are more of a crescent shape with a gradual rounding towards the corners. Here is a layout that shows the Scamp floor plan. The front cushion has a separate "banana" for the curved part at the back of it. Maybe this will help you decide.

Raya, I wonder if I could trim the cushion a bit to fit it in there? I will call scamp Monday. Has anyone received a response from Burro on any question via email? They will not respond to me.

David Burro closed many many years ago, website appears online but it isn't really Burro any more.

What I was thinking was that there would be "missing" cushion in the corners, where the Scamp is more roundy, but I don't know for sure.
