I just picked up a 2000 14' wide bodied burro, and am wondering if the older units (1980's) that it seems most burro owners here have, are they much lighter than the 14' wide bodied units?

also, on my way home from picking it up, the awning fell off. since I was on the freeway I had to cut the canvas. Now the whole awning unit is all twisted up, but possibly repairable. are the awnings important to have?

thanks

mac

We don't have an awning on our UHaul. We use a FirstUp instead. We prefer that, as it provides additional living space and keeps the bugs down.
