15 dsys to launch.

A nearly 70 year old unmechanical woman checking in, almost ready to set out living 1/2 time or more on road, first trip Indiana to west coast. I've got new trailer tires on my 16' Scamp, new propane detector, new memory foam velour bed and lots more. As we are in a lightening storm here right now, my big question is 'how safe are Scamps in lightening?'

Since fiberglass is an insulator your safer than most. A big ol tv antenna or radio antenna my make you attractive but you car parked next to you would probably get hit first. Notice lightening usually hits trees stay away from tall trees.
make sure you have auto club towing insurance with the RV endorsement and leave the troubles to them. You dont need their regular auto insurance plan to be covered from them for the towing protection.

Thanks. Got AARP road assistance with Rvs. So got that covered. That means j could stay in trailer during lightening storm as long as no tall trees or big winds?
