17' Boler Black Water Tank

Hello all,

So over the past May Long we took out our 17' boler. I was looking forward to it because I had just put the hot water tank back in and was curious how well it would work. We both had showers and the water temperature and pressure was great. However, once I was done, I noticed that I heard water running. Turns out it was coming out of the large crack in the tank below. I assume this is the black water tank as I don't think these trailers came with grey water tanks ( I could be wrong! ) Has anyone had the fun of replacing this tank? I found an older video, but it was of someone completely dismantling their trailer and then of course the tank came out last.

Thanks in advance.

Tim

I have a 1980 17' Boler and it has both a very water tank and a black water tank.
No idea how to change the tanks.

Is the black directly below the toilet? And then the grey under the trailer on yours?

How difficult was it to replace the black tank? Seems like you would have to dismantle the entire shower!
