i have a 1977 Trillium 4500 that is original except for the flooring. one of the original owners replaced the flooring with laminate. I would like to know what was originally on the floor when new.

Hi Mic

My '78 4500 came with carpet. Two pieces - upper and lower - friction fit into place.
I have replaced the carpet twice using the origional to cut to size.
I do think it would be more difficult without a pattern but not impossible.

Chris

Thanx Chris.
Sounds as if the laminate is a better bet re easier to keep clean. I just finished installing new laminate on the upper and lower floor. had a bit of a struggle with click lock in the confined area but got it done.

I put hardwood in mine. little crumbs of sand just
fall through the cracks and I take it out at the end of the camping season and brush it out. very light and distributes a persons weight quite well.

Nice! I'm one of those folks that prefer something other than carpeting too. I'm sure you're going to enjoy it
