1978+/-Amerigo insearch of R+L Thread Wheel Bolts

Hello All,

I would like to replace my wheel bolts on my hubs.
I sent my camper off to have the frame and brakes worked on and the company butchered my Left hand thread wheel bolts.
You know the ones marked with a big L on top!

Even though I warned them of the circumstances.
Hex head 7/8 approx .800
Cone seat
1" Long shaft

1/2" Diameter

13 Threads per Inch
30 Degree Pitch

I can have the hex head machined down to the next wrench size, but was hoping to replace with new or nice used.

Thank you in Advance.
Jonathan

Jonathan, I have found the correct right hand wheel bolts at Northern Tool.

Although both of my wheels have RH threads it is possible you have a lefty on yours.
Check with your local NT, they may have the LH available thru special order?

Any reliable brake shop should have them.

If the bolts were "buggered up" you should have them run a thread chaser (tap) in the bolt holes.

Hello Wayne,

Thank you for the tip I will ask around most places if it has not sold in over a year it is no longer stocked. Maybe they will take the time to look it up.

Thank you

Jonathan
