1982 Burro VIN

I'm a new owner of a 1982 Burro. The trailer was purchased in Michigan and I live in Ohio. When I tried to get a Ohio title, they had to match the title to a vin number on the trailer. Any idea where the number was located?

this link http://www.fiberglassrv.com/board/index.php?showtopic=24276 will show you where it should be, but dont be suprised if it isnt there, if it isnt and you have the vin number on your title then just go out and stamp it on with steel stencils or have a MFG label made and put it on the trailier.

Scott, thanks for your help. I found it about 14" from the tongue. A couple of digits are very lite.
